World's Cheapest Tablet PC is Launched in India - Aakash not Sakshat
The world's cheapest table computer, Aakash, was launched today at an event in New Delhi.
National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the tablet computer is designed in India as a low cost but full functioning device.
Created for students, the Rs 1,750 tablet aims to connect 25,000 colleges and 400 universities through e-learning programme.
